Two more Medknow journals in SCI

• Annals of Indian Academy of Neurology and International Journal of Diabetest in Developing Countries have been included for coverage in Science Citation Index Expanded, Journal Citation Reports, and Web of Science by the Thomson Reuters. Both the journals will get official Impact Factor in the year 2011.

Journal of Carcinogenesis moves to Medknow

• Journal of Carcinogenesis is an open access, peer-reviewed, online journal designed to bring together many aspects of research to develop the understanding of carcinogenesis. The journal is now published by Medknow on behalf of Carcinogenesis Press.

JETS inaugural issue online at www.onlinejets.org

• Journal of Emergencies Trauma and Shock (JETS) is the official journal of the INDO-US Emergency and Trauma Collaborative. The inaugural issue is now online at www.onlinejets.org.

AJPS converts to open access journal

• African Journal of Paediatric Surgery is now fully open access. Full text articles of latest issue are available online from http://www.afrjpaedsurg.org.
  Journal also accepts articles online and manuscripts can be submtted from www.journalonweb.com/ajps. Authors do not have to pay a fee for publication of articles.

Asian Journal of Pharmaceutics is now online and free

• Asian Journal of Pharmaceutics (AJP) is peer-reviewed, quarterly, open access journal published under the auspices of TIFAC-CORE in Green Pharmacy and B R Nahata College of Pharmacy, India.
  AJP is now online at http://www.asiapharmaceutics.info. Articles can be submitted online from www.journalonweb.com/ajp. There is no fee for submission, processing, or publication of manuscripts.

CytoJournal moves to Medknow

• CytoJournal, an open Access, peer-reviewed publication of Cytopathology Foundation Inc., USA, will be published by Medknow beginning from 1st July 2008.
  
  The journal will continue to be online at www.cytojournal.com.
  
  Manuscripts can be submitted online from www.journalonweb.com/cytojournal. The CytoJournal, unlike other Medknow journals, charges article processing fee. However, there would be substantial reduction in the APC e.g. an individual can become a CF Member and get complete waiver from the APC.

• Annals of Indian Academy of Neurology and Annals of Thoracic Medicine have been included in CINAHL databases and Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature print index.

New journal on dermatosurgery

• Journal of Cutaneous and Aesthetic Surgery (JCAS), is now online at www.jcasonline.com.
  JCAS, an open access peer-reviewed journal, is official publication of the Association of Cutaneous Surgeons of India.
  The journal's manuscript system is online at www.journalonweb.com/jcas. Articles are published without any fee of processing or publication.

Annals of Pediatric Cardiology goes online

• The inaugural issue of the Annals of Pediatric Cardiology, publication of Pediatric Cardiac Society of India (PCSI) is online at www.annalspc.com.
  The open access journal on pediatric cardiology and related disciplines is probably the first freely available journal on this specialized subject. The journal accepts articles through online submission and does not charge the authors for submission, processing or publication of the manuscripts.

Back files of IJO from vol 1 available for free access:

• Back files of last 55 years of Indian Journal of Ophthalmology are now available online from www.ijo.in (except for a couple of issues). The entire collection of over 3,500 articles is available for free access. IJO is PubMed and SCI indexed journal with a print circulation of over 10,000. The journal's website is accessed by over 1,500 visitors every day, mainly from the USA and Europe.

JOC goes online and open access

• The Journal of Cytology is the official quarterly publication of the Indian Academy of Cytologists. It is in the 25th year of publication in the year 2008. The journal covers all aspects of diagnostic cytology, including fine needle aspiration cytology, gynecological and non-gynecological cytology.
  
  JoC is now available online for free access to everyone from its newly designed website http://www.jcytol.org.
  
  JoC accepts articles electronically and manuscripts can be submitted online from www.journalonweb.com/joc. There is no fee required to be paid for submission or processing of articles.

JETS goes online

• Journal of Emergencies Trauma and Shock (JETS) the official journal of the INDO-US Emergency and Trauma Collaborative, is online at www.onlinejets.org.
  JETS encourages research, education and dissemination of knowledge in the fields of Emergency Medicine, Traumatology and Shock Resuscitation thus promoting translational research by striking a synergy between basic science, clinical medicine and public health.
  The journal will be published semiannually (June and December) in 2008 and quarterly from 2009 (January, April, July, and October).

IJPM converts to open access

• Indian Journal of Pathology and Microbiology the official quarterly publication of the Indian Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists is now open access. The full text of the latest issues is online from www.ijpmonline.org. Back issues would also be made available from the site in future.
